Ever seen Alaska before??? Better yet, ever had a good taste of it?? Well, I have. ^_^

Yeap! I was talking about the Alaska cake!
What the heck is that??? Hrm, well its actually a cake with a touch of multiple desserts all in one, with what I would call erm, baked egg white coating. Inside there was pineapple, a thin layer of pandan sponge cake and my favourite, ice-cream! It was cocktail sweet and sour, which was nice. It was a cake that was one of a kind, and mom was so happy with the surprise..! Look at her!
Mom's Birthday was last Saturday. And at night after dad closed shop, we went to celebrate in Kepong. At my favourite restaurant. Where else if not D'Fortune?? Hehe... And it was a blast.
We were a whole big bunch that day. There was Fatin and Aunt Rose that followed us too. The food was tasty, as usual, and most of us ordered Super sized drinks. And the super was really, a super. At Rm 6.90 it was a real worth one. A good meal accompanied with a satisfying food drink..What more could we ask...Ahhh... Love the drink in a warm night...
But there was more. The Alaska cake was courtesy of D'Fortune, in the house. it was the friendly nature of mom who made friends with the Manager the last time we went there. And when it was known to her that we were there to celebrate mom's birthday, she made this sudden and pleasant surprise, which I thought was so sweet. Well, let the pics tell u more...
Had a video of the guitarist and the Birthday song but hey, with my voice at the background, it ain't somethin u wanna hear. Haha.
Hope she liked her presents. Hunt through the whole complex for that one. Haha. Tiring, but fun nevatheless. =)
