Silver Bells..
Silver Bells...
Silver Bells...
Soon it will be Christmas Day..
Yeap yeap yeap!! Christmas is coming!!! Its the best time of the year, and it also marks the time where the year is about to come to a close...Christmas is the time where everyone go to each other's houses, have crazy talks, and sing Christmas songs under the Christmas tree (by the piano), share special moments and laugh at that one 'unlucky' fella whose gotta dress up at Santa and chanter the "Ho Ho Ho...!! Merry Christmas!!!!"...hehe..!
So for those who don't celebrate Christmas, or is a Christian/Catholic but has no plans for this time of the year, what should be done?? Where should he/ she go?? What should he/ she do???
Well, for starters, you might wanna ask yourself, how do you wanna celebrate this special day. In my opinion, do some reciprocating and reconciliation.. Sure, there were some people in a time not long ago where you had a simple misunderstanding with or perhaps someone who's dear but you haven't keep in contact for awhile. Pick up the phone and give'em a buzz...Who knows..? They might pick up...And when they do, that's when u make the move of clearing off the misunderstanding and picking up where u both left. And please lar..No high school attitude lar aite...In the act of reconciliation, it is not important on who made the first move.. Or maybe call someone whom you never liked (and he/ she never liked you to) and wish them a very Merry Christmas..maybe that move might change the perception of that person towards you and you'll never know, it might open doors to a much more valuable friendship, since your enemy is the one person that knows your weaknesses...So if you guys can become friends, then expect long one ahead..and what better way of starting that than during Christmas time?? Or maybe, call an old friend. No matter how many times u switch your phone, the contacts didn't diminish from its memory right?? Scroll down ur cellphone directory, and amongst the hundreds or thousands (I'm not sure if a phone can support that many ^^), there are sure a few special ones that u had a good conversation with, or run down the same path together but got separated along the way...Give them a call, and ask if they're free to come out for a meal or a drink...After all, that's whats Christmas is all about. Finding lost foes and fostering closer bonds..
If your looking for some place to be at, then no prob..Go to a place where there are Christmas songs airing in the atmosphere, like shopping complexes...But with the hurdes of people thats gonna be there too, expect a massive jam and difficulty in finding parkings.. :-P Or if you dun wanna take all the trouble, then search for a good Christmas movie and invite some friends over. Watch it together. Then later, maybe bake some cookies and have fun doing it... I suck in baking, so through the process of failed attempts, I kinda come to realise that its not the destination that matters, but the journey..SO if ur cookies suck at the end, what the h***!!! Just make sure u have fun!!!
This special day only comes once in a year, so savour it as much as you can before it passes...And for starters, start turning on some Christmas songs!!! That's what I just did!!! And its been playing for the third round already!!! Huhuhu...! That's what I call Christmas!!!
No matter what you decide to do, just keep in mind that on Christmas, don't be alone...
So, Good Luck!!
